YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy policy.
Last updated:
This policy explains how The Regulation Collective, operated by Amanda Doggett in Melbourne, Australia, handles information through this website and the services linked from it. For a privacy question, email info@regulationcollective.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact messages: your name, email, optional business name, enquiry topic, message and consent to a reply. These are used to respond to your request.
- Professional development enquiries: your name, email and any organisation, audience, timing, goals or preferred format you supply. These help Amanda discuss a suitable workshop with you.
- Workshop registration: your name, email, optional message and registration time. These are used to manage the workshop and share joining details.
- Collective signup: your email, any name you provide, and the consent and subscription information managed by MailerLite. These are used for the starter kit, weekly emails and workshop updates you choose to receive.
- Consultation bookings: the contact details, chosen time, timezone and answers requested on Cal.com. These are used to schedule and manage your meeting.
- Purchases and free downloads: the order and customer information handled by Payhip and its checkout providers. Payment details are entered with the checkout provider. Please do not send card details through our enquiry forms.
- Technical information: hosting and embedded services may process an IP address, browser or device information, page requests and security or delivery logs to operate their services.
Required fields are shown on each form. If you do not provide the details needed for a request, we may be unable to respond, register you or complete that request. You can contact us by email instead of using a form.
Where your information goes
Information is processed in the service used for your request and in correspondence needed to respond. The public workshop registration form saves details in our Cloudflare-hosted website. The owner enquiry dashboard requires authentication. The Contact us form uses Web3Forms. The professional development form uses MailerLite separately from the Collective newsletter.
| Service | Purpose | More information |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, security and storage of workshop registration details. | Privacy policy ↗ |
| MailerLite | Collective newsletter signup and the separate professional development enquiry form. | Privacy policy ↗ |
| Web3Forms | Processing and delivery of messages sent through the Contact us form. | Privacy policy ↗ |
| Cal.com | Consultation scheduling, booking details and calendar invitations. | Privacy policy ↗ |
| Payhip | Product purchases, free workshop downloads, checkout and order fulfilment. | Privacy policy ↗ |
| The optional YouTube tutorial and Google Meet when shown in your booking. | Privacy policy ↗ |
Workshop sessions may use Zoom, as shown in the session details. A booking or workshop platform may send information to the calendar, email or meeting service used for that event. External sites such as Amazon, Facebook and Google apply their own privacy policies when you follow their links.
Overseas processing
These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Australia. MailerLite describes subscriber data storage in the European Union. Cal.com describes processing in the United States and through its subprocessors. Cloudflare describes storage primarily in the United States and the European Economic Area, with international access and transfers. Web3Forms operates from India and uses international infrastructure. Payhip describes transfers that may occur outside the European Economic Area.
The exact locations depend on the provider, its subprocessors and the service used. Their linked policies explain their current arrangements. Contact us if you need more detail about a particular request.
Clean Copy and the public demo
The public demo is for the made-up examples supplied. Do not enter real customer details, health information, passwords, identity documents or other sensitive records into it or our enquiry forms. The downloadable Clean Copy product is described separately on the Clean Copy page. Its local document-processing features are separate from the personal information needed for a website enquiry, purchase or booking.
Your choices, access and correction
A consultation or workshop enquiry does not itself request the Collective newsletter. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in an email. You can still contact us about an existing booking, purchase or request.
Email info@regulationcollective.com to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask about retention. Include enough detail to locate the relevant request, but do not send identity documents unless we agree on a suitable way to verify your identity. We may need to check that we are dealing with the correct person.
Records are held in the systems described above. Retention and removal can depend on the request, provider settings and any record-keeping obligations. If some information must be retained, we will explain the reason when responding to your request. We can help identify the relevant provider where a request also needs to be handled by that service.
Security
The website uses HTTPS, and saved workshop registrations sit behind owner authentication. Service providers apply their own security measures, described in their policies. Please use the forms only for the information needed for your request. If you believe information has been exposed through this website, contact us promptly.
Contact and privacy complaints
Contact Amanda Doggett at info@regulationcollective.com and describe your concern, the form or service involved and when it happened. We will review the issue, request further details if needed and aim to respond within 30 days.
If you remain dissatisfied, you can seek guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner ↗ about available complaint options and whether it can deal with your complaint.
We update this page when the website's information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies this version.
